These sample menus are to give you an idea of what’s available when you book a Spit Roast. You can choose any one of them just as detailed below, or we can work with you to create a special menu for your event.

Sample Menu A

With Spit Roast Kid Goat

To Start

Homemade baby pitta bread, with marinaded Wood Pigeon Breast grilled to your liking, dressed with red wine jus, curried pickle courgette, wild rocket, fresh cherry tomato and homemade hummus.

Main Event

Kid Goat rubbed in olive oil, lemon, thyme, oregano, rosemary and garlic slowly spit roasted over a wood fire.

Served with:
Greek salad, Tzatziki, charcoal baked garlic. rosemary and chrizio flat bread.
Thyme and red wine jus

Dessert

Lemon drizzle polenta cake

Sample Menu B

With Spit Roast Lamb

To Start

Selection of freshly home made crostini accompanied with our house cheeses, Wild Boar Terrine, Duck Terrine, pate, char-grilled vegetables and seasonal chutneys.

Main Event

Grass Fed Lamb stuffed with garlic and fresh herbs, brushed with olive oil and lemon juice slowly spit roast over hazel wood infused wood fire.

Served with:
Wilted spinach, House pickled vegetables, Cous cous salad, Red wine and fresh mint jus.

Dessert

Vienna cheese cake.

Sample Menu C

With Spit Roast Wild Boar

To Start

Porotta bread topped with char-grilled Goat Shish Kebabs, wild rocket, curried pickle courgette, fresh tomato and Tzatziki.

Main Event

Wild Boar rubbed in olive oil and smoked sea salt, dressed with fresh rosemary, thyme and garlic and cooked slowly over an apple wood infused fire.

Served with:
Spiced red cabbage braised in fresh orange juice. Seasonal salad from our garden with white truffle oil dressing. Goat cheeses and smoked bacon potato croquettes. Crispy crackling, organic cider and cumin jus.

Dessert

Cherve cheese, drizzled with honey and topped with roasted pecan nuts
